There's a Geek Dinner coming up in NYC and I've put myself down as one of the attendees. Details can be found here. If you're in NYC or you will be then you should go! I hope they go for Pete's Tavern since it's only about a 10 minute walk from my apartment.
I've always been a lurker in the geek community both on-line and off. Most of my friends are not geeks so I always find myself talking about non-geek subjects when out and about. Well this is part of my effort to stop being a lurker and get more active in the geek community!
Speaking of geek, I've always preferred the term nerd. When I think of a geek I think of some circus freak biting the heads off chickens. What's your preference?
